After a disappointing Stage 1 for Toronto KOI, the team has decided to reevaluate its lineup going into Stage II. Tobias "CleanX" Juul Jønsson filled the flex position for the first time in his career after making the move temporarily at the Esports World Cup, but it hasn’t produced the desired results. Although he has performed well individually, the overall team dynamic has not come together for the rest of the roster.

José "ReeaL" Castilla has struggled significantly in the SMG position, which is disappointing given the effort Toronto invested in signing him during the offseason from the Miami Heretics. It is now expected that he will switch to the team's flex position, while CleanX will return to his original entry SMG role, reuniting with his SMG teammate, Joseph "JoeDeceives" Romero.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see what steps KOI takes if results do not improve. LA Thieves flex player Kenneth "Kenny" Williams is expected to be replaced, and KOI had shown interest in him during the past offseason, making this a situation to watch over the next few months.
