The LA Thieves have officially promoted Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison from substitute to their starting roster, making the highly touted prospect’s rookie season a reality. He'll be taking the spot of the legendary AR, Kenneth "Kenny" Williams. After spending the early portion of the year developing behind the scenes, Nium now steps into one of the most talent-rich lineups in the Call of Duty League. It’s a bold move from the Thieves, but one that signals confidence in a player they believe can thrive at the highest level.

Nium’s rise has been building throughout the season. He began the year competing with OpTic’s academy team, the Huntsmen, where he consistently stood out as one of the roster’s best individual performers. His strong showings there earned him a substitute role with LA following the Winter Break, giving the Thieves a closer look at his potential in a professional environment. Behind the scenes, Nium continued to impress, deciding to promote him increasingly difficult to ignore, including placing Top 4 at the Dallas Open.

Timing played a major role in the move. LA held a contractual option to elevate Nium to the starting lineup after the Major, but delaying that decision risked losing him to rival teams eager to secure young talent. By pulling the trigger now, the Thieves not only lock in one of the most promising rookies entering the league but also take a calculated swing at raising their ceiling. All eyes will be on Nium as he’s thrown into the deep end, with a chance to make an immediate impact on a team built to contend.
