Day 3 of Week 2 in the Major IV qualifiers has come to a close, bringing an end to the second week as Rokkr fails to close the gap to OpTic.
With postseason hopes on the line, the top teams dominated the day, stepping up with clutch plays and momentum-swinging performances that hurt the lower teams' chances to climb the standings. From commanding Hardpoint efforts to ice-cold finishes in SNDs, several stars rose to the occasion in high-pressure moments. Let’s take a look at the Players of the Day who made their presence felt.
Result: 3-0 victory over Boston Breach
Series Stats: 70 Kills, 1.27 Series K/D, 110.7 Slayer Rating, and 9,062 damage
With the team struggling to start the Major IV Qualifiers, Abuzah responded today to give the team a spark. Starting the series with a 43-28 (1.54 K/D) performance in Map 1, the Belgian was the slaying force needed to close out the Breach in quick fashion. The Main AR led the lobby in multiple stat categories, including Kills, K/D, Slayer Rating, HP Damage (5,067), and many more. The win puts the squad at 1-2 for the qualifiers, with matches against Toronto & Minnesota next week. They'll need wins next week to secure the Winner's Bracket start at Major IV.

Series Stats: 52 Kills, 1.24 Series K/D, 94.9 Slayer Rating, and 7,098 damage
Often overlooked & criticized, Insight had himself a series today against the Minnesota Rokkr. The Rokkr needed a win badly, not only to try to catch OpTic Texas in 8th place but also to get an Upper Bracket start at Major IV. Ultra did not let the Minnesota squad get going, shutting the series down with a 3-0 sweep. Insight went 8-2 (4.00 K/D) with 941 damage in Map 2 to help the squad win 6-2 on Rewind Search & Destroy before going 17-10 (1.70 K/D) in Map 3.
