OpTic Gaming has officially announced its Challengers roster for the Black Ops 7 season, bringing together a mix of rising talent and gifted cross-title competitors. The lineup of Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison, Kips, Rspi, and OpTic Halo superstar Jonathan "Renegade" Willette marks OpTic’s first official re-entry into the Tier 2 scene since the OpTic Nation days nearly a decade ago.
For Nium, Kips, and Rspi, this is the opportunity every longtime amateur player works toward: joining the most iconic brand in Call of Duty. All three have been steadily climbing the Challengers ladder over the last couple of seasons. Nium notably played well at EWC under the Team WaR banner. Their progression over the preseason of the title made them top-tier free-agent targets, and OpTic has moved decisively to secure them.

The biggest headline, however, is Renegade’s official shift into competitive Call of Duty. Widely regarded as one of the most naturally gifted FPS players in North America, Renegade dominated Halo for years under banners like OpTic Gaming, FaZe Clan, and Spacestation Gaming. Now, he’s testing himself in a new arena, bringing raw potential and championship-level discipline to the COD ecosystem. His transition will be one of the most closely watched storylines of the entire season.
With this roster, OpTic isn’t just fielding a Challengers team; they’re building a long-term talent pipeline. As the Black Ops 7 season begins, expect OpTic’s newest roster to be at the center of the action.
