The Toronto Ultra are entering the Black Ops 7 offseason with major ambitions, looking to build a championship-caliber roster around franchise star Joseph "JoeDeceives" Romero. With the organization set to fully embrace its KOI rebrand, management is aiming to make a splash by pursuing top-tier talent, and all signs point to big moves on the horizon.
At the top of the list is Kenneth "Kenny" Williams, the two-time world champion who recently became a free agent after being released by the Minnesota Rokkr. Sources indicate that negotiations between Kenny and Ultra are progressing smoothly, and unless another team presents a significant offer, he’s expected to land in Toronto. Additionally, there is a strong interest in Zack "Drazah" Jordan, with confirmed reports that he and Kenny are open to reuniting. However, Drazah’s situation is fluid, as a return to Atlanta FaZe remains a possibility, as well as the Gentlemates.

Ultra is also aggressively pursuing Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris, the longtime FaZe SMG star. While acquiring him would require a substantial buyout, his desire to move on from Atlanta has opened the door. Toronto hopes to pair aBeZy with his close friend JoeDeceives to form one of the most dangerous duos in the CDL. That said, LA Thieves, Vegas Falcons, Gentlemates, and other contenders are also circling, making the race for aBeZy highly competitive.
Lastly, Tobias "CleanX" Juul Jønsson has not been ruled out as a returning piece to the new KOI project. Toronto is keeping all options open as it evaluates the best path forward to contend in 2026.
