We reported last week that the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/teams/26/Carolina-Royal-Ravens">Carolina Royal Ravens</a> were close to signing the European trio of Ben "<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/players/42/Beans">Beans</a>" McMellon, Marcus "<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/players/4/Afro">Afro</a>" Reid, and Ben "<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/players/145/Mythix">Mythix</a>" McKenna but had yet to find a fourth player. We can now confirm that they've made progress.<img src="https://dfpiiufxcciujugzjvgx.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/uploaded_files/posts/Abe (@EWCExtra)-1790866050309.webp">Sources tell us that former <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/teams/12/Toronto-KOI">Toronto KOI</a> player Ronald "<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/players/178/Abe">Abe</a>" Abraham is the top choice for the fourth spot. Abe didn't have a standout season between KOI and <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://breakingpoint.gg/teams/3/Vancouver-Surge">Vancouver Surge</a>, but he is still viewed as a player with significant potential.More importantly for the trio, Abe is seen as someone who will mesh well with them, having played alongside European players in the past. Mixed NA and EU rosters have run into chemistry problems before, so the Ravens prioritizing that fit is a smart move. Abe also brings much-needed pace to the lineup, which could enhance the roster.
