Sources: Joedeceives Drawing Heavy Interest as Toronto Ultra Works to Retain Franchise Star

Joseph "JoeDeceives" Romero has quickly become one of the hottest names of the offseason following a breakout campaign in Black Ops 6, and multiple CDL teams are reportedly making a push to acquire the rising superstar.

The Toronto Ultra organization is fully aware of his value. It is working hard behind the scenes to not only retain Joe but also build a top-tier roster around him to ensure he remains the face of the franchise moving into Black Ops 7, notably trying to pair the young SMG up with Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris.

Sources say at least three CDL teams have shown strong interest, including Gentle Mates, who already made a move that was rejected by Ultra. Atlanta FaZe and the LA Thieves have also emerged as serious contenders, though Toronto’s front office, known for tough negotiations and rarely selling unless the timing is right, will likely make any potential deal difficult. While Ultra remains committed to building around Joedeceives, the pressure is on as rival teams attempt to lure him away with compelling offers.
