In a unique twist ahead of the Esports World Cup, OMiT Brooklyn has officially been loaned to Project 7 Esports (P7), following OMiT’s unprecedented situation of having two teams qualify for the international event. With tournament rules allowing only one team per organization to compete, OMiT was forced to either sell or loan out one of their rosters—a decision made easier after the main OMiT squad convincingly defeated OMiT Brooklyn in the Grand Finals of the Challengers Finals.
The decision caps off an incredible season for both OMiT rosters, who dominated the Challengers scene and solidified themselves as elite Tier 2 teams. But with only one EWC slot available under the OMiT banner, the organization had to act quickly. Their choice to retain the main roster—bolstered by their dominant Grand Finals win—meant OMiT Brooklyn was the odd team out.

Rather than disbanding or selling the roster outright, OMiT has worked out a loan agreement with P7 Esports, allowing the full Brooklyn squad to compete under a new banner at the Esports World Cup. The move preserves the team's competitive integrity and rewards the players’ season-long effort by ensuring their presence on the global stage.
