Firstly, welcome, and congratulations on the new roster! To begin, let's take a trip back to the Black Ops 6 season when you left the LA Thieves during the offseason to join the Vancouver Surge. How did that roster come together?
Nastie: "That roster came together kinda fast, to be honest. After I didn’t retain my spot on Thieves wanted to go Surge straight away. They had a good core already, so we made it happen."
You made it to four finals but unfortunately weren't been able to convert any of them. What are your overall feelings about the season, considering the expectations heading in? You must still be proud of yourself and the squad.
Nastie: "The expectation as a competitor is always to win, so getting second sucks. It’s definitely the worst feeling, but I’m proud of the resilience the team showed that year, also a lot of personal growth for me individually, too."
As all four of you improved your reputations and became free agents, were there any plans to stick together and look for another organization?
Nastie: "There were no plans to stick together, we lost all finals we went to and got kinda slammed in most of them, so sticking was never an option."
We've seen your ex-teammates move on to FaZe and Gentlemates. While you eventually found a good roster, did you feel overlooked during the initial roster mania?
Nastie: "I am super happy with the roster I’ve landed on this year. Everyone plays for the win, and that’s what is most important to me. I will say I’m deffo overlooked, but the scene is weird like that tbh some people are overlooked, some have high stock when they shouldn’t, it’s always been that way."
Did you receive any offers outside of Boston, or was this always your ideal landing spot, joining a core team that caused many upsets last season and secured a top 3 placement at Call of Duty Champs?
Nastie: "I was in talks with other teams, of course, but Boston was always my main landing spot out of the teams I was in contact with. They had a great thing going here with a good core from last season. I wanted to be a part of that."
Now, let's actually talk about the players on your new roster. How excited are you to team with them, and how do you think their playstyles compare to your Vancouver Surge roster?
Nastie: "I’ve got to play with the guys, and I love this team. I’m excited to compete this season with them. Everyone on this roster is selfless, and the personalities mesh really well. Differences from my surge roster are hard to tell; I haven’t been here that long."

What are your expectations for you and your team this season?
Nastie: "Expectations are always to win. But other than that, I’d like us to be consistent. I don't want any large ups to be followed by large downs throughout the season."
Who do you think will be the team to beat heading into the Black Ops 7 season?
Nastie: "Team to beat is obviously OpTic, they were dominant to end BO6 and won champs."
