The LA Guerrillas M8 are shaking up their roster just ahead of the Esports World Cup, announcing that longtime veteran Tyler “FeLo” Johnson has been moved to the bench. In his place, the team has signed Conor "Diamondcon" Johst, a veteran AR who recently helped the Challengers squad Team WaR qualify for the Esports World Cup.

The move marks a significant shift in direction for M8s, who are looking to inject new energy into their lineup after a tough inaugural season in the Call of Duty League. While FeLo brought invaluable leadership and experience to the team, the results weren't achieved by the roster, as they failed to qualify for Champs. FeLo will remain under contract as a restricted free agent through the end of the Esports World Cup. That means teams interested in acquiring him will need to wait until after the tournament concludes or negotiate a buyout with the Guerrillas organization.

As part of Team WaR, Diamondcon played a pivotal role in the squad’s qualification for the Esports World Cup, showcasing strong slaying ability and objective play across all game modes. Here were his individual statistics in Team WaR's run to 3rd place at the Challengers Finals in Kitchener:

This decision, however, comes at a cost: Diamondcon’s departure leaves Team WaR down a starting player just weeks before the biggest event of their season. It’s a tough blow for the North American Challengers squad, but a major opportunity for Diamondcon, who now steps back into the CDL spotlight. The LA Guerrillas M8s roster for the final Tournament will be:
