The OpTic Texas Academy squad, the Huntsmen, have announced the release of Rspi and Nemensions from their active roster ahead of Challengers Stage III. The move signals another round of changes for the academy lineup as they look to rebuild with ex-professional players around Jonathan "Renegade" Willette.

Rspi had been with the Huntsmen since the roster’s formation, serving as one of the original members of OpTic’s developmental program this year. Nemesions, meanwhile, joined during the Stage II rebuild following Nicholas "Kips" Lyons and Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison’s promotions to the Call of Duty League roster. Despite flashes of promise, the Huntsmen struggled to translate strong individual play into consistent results during Stage II, prompting another reset before the next Challengers split.

With both players departing, the Huntsmen now face another round of roster decisions as they prepare for the Stage III North American Elite. The organization has yet to announce replacements, but the expectation is that General Manager Anthony "Methodz" Zinni will build a strong squad capable of restoring the team’s competitive edge heading into the stretch run of the Challengers' season.
