The Call of Duty League has officially welcomed its newest identity shift, as the LA Guerrillas M8 have completed their long-anticipated transformation into the Paris Gentle Mates. The French esports organization Gentlem Mates, which acquired the CDL slot last season, was unable to perform a full rebrand during the competitive year, but with the Black Ops 7 season on the horizon, the transition is complete. Paris Gentlemates becomes the league’s newest European-backed franchise, bringing a fresh aesthetic & one of the best fanbases into the 2025 campaign.

Alongside the rebrand, the organization unveiled its official roster for the Black Ops 7 season: Daniel "Ghosty" Rothe, Dylan "Envoy" Hannon, Daunte "Sib" Gray, and Travis "Neptune" McCloud. The lineup already made waves at the Monster Launch Invitational, where they finished second place, falling only to OpTic Texas in the Grand Final. Their run showcased a roster with undeniable upside, which makes them one of the most intriguing contending teams heading into the season.
