The 2026 Call of Duty League season is here, and with it comes a fresh slate of BreakingPoint Fantasy categories designed to make every map, mode, and matchup even more exciting. Below, we break down every Function, Sum, and High category you can play with in your Fantasy Leagues!

First, let's break down what each type of category there is currently for users to choose from. Each of the categories only takes the data from the starting players from each day, so players on your bench do not contribute in any way. There are three types that all pull the data differently:
β Sum
β Function
β High
The Sum category is the simplest of the three. It is the total of a specific statistic and giving a total. Let's set the table for an example. Your team is Dashy, Mercules, Simp, & HyDra. The category is HP Kills, which is the sum of Hardpoint Kills by your team. Here's how this category would play out over a weekend:
Dashy: 60 Hardpoint Kills
Mercules: 75 Hardpoint Kills
Simp: 65 Hardpoint Kills
HyDra: 70 Hardpoint Kills
Your total here would be 270 kills. If your players have more kills than the opposing team, you'd win the category.
The next type is a Function category. This one is not an average; it is a formula using sums of specific statistics. Using the same team as the example above, let's see how this would play out with the given data for the HP K/D category:
Dashy: 60 Hardpoint Kills, 55 Hardpoint Deaths
Mercules: 75 Hardpoint Kills, 60 Hardpoint Deaths
Simp: 65 Hardpoint Kills, 60 Hardpoint Deaths
HyDra: 70 Hardpoint Kills, 60 Hardpoint Deaths.
The HP K/D category is calculated by taking the total Hardpoint Kills from your starters and dividing them by their deaths. In the example above, you'd have 270 kills and 235 deaths. So, you'd complete the K/D formula (270 Kills / 235 Deaths) for a K/D of 1.15.
The final type of category is the High category. This was a new type that was introduced late last year. This one is unique because it takes the highest value of a specific statistic in either a map or a series. What makes this a great fantasy category is that your starters could win this category at any point. Last game of the weekend, one of your starters could finish with 50+ kills in a map to win you the category, making it very exciting. We'll use the same team from the previous example, but put the most kills they got in a single map of Hardpoint over a weekend of play:
Dashy: 42 Kills in an HP map
Mercules: 45 Kills in an HP map
Simp: 46 Kills in an HP map
HyDra: 44 Kills in an HP map
In this example, in the High HP Kills category, your team would have a high of 46 kills in a Hardpoint (set by Simp).
Each of these categories is calculated differently but has its own positives & negatives. Sums require players to set their lineups every single day in order to get the highest value. Functions don't require you to set your lineup every day, but be more efficient and picky with the players you start. High categories are more balanced but require one of your players to have a really good map or series. Give them all a try to see which ones you prefer!
