As the Call of Duty League gears up for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, the competitive field is officially set, and it’s a thrilling mix of CDL powerhouses and hungry Challenger underdogs. With the disqualification of the Carolina Royal Ravens, five Challenger teams have earned their shot on the global stage, rounding out a 16-team field that’s more unpredictable than ever. This unique international tournament brings together top-tier talent and rising stars for a final showdown that could redefine narratives heading into the offseason.
In this special edition of our EWC Power Rankings, we’ll rank all 16 teams based on current form, roster strength, and overall momentum heading into the event. But that’s not all—we’re also highlighting each team’s top Fantasy performer for the tournament, giving fans a look at who could make the biggest impact, both in-game and on the scoreboard. From seasoned CDL veterans to breakout Challenger talent, these are the players and teams you’ll want to keep an eye on when the action kicks off in Riyadh.
How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and content team at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 16 teams, giving more weight to recency over the entire season. Each ranks the teams 1st through 16th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, starting with 16 points for 1st to 1 point for 16th.
