Boston Breach have officially parted ways with veteran SMG Eric "Snoopy" PĂŠrez, ending a tenure that dates back to 2023. The announcement follows Snoopyâs benching after StageâŻII, marking the organizationâs decision to fully move on as they continue restructuring ahead of StageâŻIII.

A fan favorite throughout his time with Boston, Snoopy was known for his relentless pace and playmaking ability on the front line. He helped define the Breachâs aggressive style during multiple seasons and remained one of the longest-standing members of the franchise. However, after the team failed to qualify for MajorâŻII, internal changes were expected as the organization searched for a new direction.
This move officially closes a chapter in the Breachâs roster history. Snoopyâs departure leaves Boston with a vacant SMG slot as they continue evaluating lineup options before the next stage of qualifiers. Those options have included Kenneth "Kenny" Williams, Marcus "Afro" Reid, JosĂŠ "ReeaL" Castilla, and his ex-SMG partner Evan "Purj" Perez. It now looks like the team will sign Afro & pair him with Purj for the start of Stage III.
As for Snoopy, his proven track record and experience make him one of the most intriguing free agents on the market heading into the back half of the 2026 CDL season. With several franchises looking to refresh their lineups before StageâŻIII or heading into the final Stage of the season, his next chapter could come sooner rather than later.
