OpTic Texas is planning a surprising roster change.

Just a few days after delivering their most impressive win since Stage 1, it wouldn't have seemed unlikely to anyone that they would consider dropping Cesar "Skyz" Bueno in favour of Mason "Mercules" Ramsay a few weeks ago. However, given the team's recent performance over the weekend, the timing of this potential move raises questions. The team has consistently discussed how practice has been going well, but translating that success into matches has been a challenge. This past weekend, it seems like they finally found their rhythm.

Mercules had previously turned down an offer from Cloud9 New York over a week ago, following his impressive performance at Major 3, where he stepped in as a last-minute substitute for Toronto Ultra.

The roster for the rest of the season for OpTic Texas will be:

○ Brandon "Dashy" Otell
○ Mason "Mercules" Ramsay
○ Cuyler "Huke" Garland
○ Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro
○ Damon "Karma" Barlow (Coach)
○ JohnPaul "JPKrez" Krez (Coach)
