Paris Gentle Mates Acquire Reigning World Champions O4, Abuzah, and Drazah

The reports were true. Paris Gentle Mates have formally announced the acquisition of reigning World Champions Jovan "O4" Rodriguez, Jordan "Abuzah" François, and Zack "Drazah" Jordan from FaZe Vegas, bringing the three core pieces of the Champs-winning roster to Paris to join forces with SMG Joseph "JoeDeceives" Romero.

A Champion Core Moves to Paris

The deal reunites three players who won the CDL Championship together at home in Vegas, where FaZe survived a five-map eClassico thriller with OpTic Texas in the Winners Final before closing out a commanding 5-2 Grand Final win over the same OpTic roster. Each had a hand in the title.

O4 was the engine at the tournament, posting a league-best 1.30 Hardpoint K/D, a 1.28 SND K/D, and a league-best 71.6% non-traded kill percentage on the way to his first CDL ring. Earlier in the year, the former Vancouver Surge player broke through with his first professional tournament win at Major II, including a 37-21 outing in Map 1 of the Grand Final against OpTic.

Abuzah matched him all year. He led the league in Overload goals and finished the tournament with a 1.21 overall K/D and a league-best 1.26 respawn K/D at Champs, serving as one of the most objective-minded ARs in the CDL while providing a two-way threat in SND.

Drazah brings the championship pedigree, with a second CDL ring from Champs to go with his Vanguard title at LA Thieves. A steady flex who led FaZe with a 1.14 K/D at Major I and 1.13 at Major IV, he held his level against the league's best throughout the year, and his numbers rose on LAN in every mode.

The roster will be joined by a quartet of coaches, management & analysts. Joining the franchise are the veteran coaches Troy "Sender" Michaels and Raymond "Rambo" Lussier. William "Veohz" Lachance will continue as the general manager of the squad, while Ashkan "Cheek" Chitsaz also stays on as the analyst.

What It Means for Modern Warfare IV

The acquisition gives Paris one of the most decorated rosters in the league heading into 2027, and a clear statement of intent from an organization that has now added three Champs winners to its lineup. With FaZe Vegas turning to Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez, Thomas "Scrap" Ernst, and Mohammed "Alluka" Bindal around Chris "Simp" Lehr, the two organizations have essentially traded cores, setting up what promises to be one of the league's most compelling rivalries heading into Modern Warfare IV.
