It's been a strange offseason for G2 Minnesota. Heading into it with star SMG Kyle "Kremp" Haworth under contract, many expected them to push to be even more competitive than last season. Instead, the opposite has happened.

Sources have revealed that G2 is targeting a full roster of former Telluride Bush players: Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly, Kris "Spart" Cervantez, Ronald "Abe" Abraham, and Byron "Prolute" Vera.

TJHaLy and Spart ended the season together on Boston Breach, but neither impressed. Spart in particular started strong before his performance dwindled toward the end of the year.

The surprising development involves Abe and Prolute. Both have offers to join the Carolina Royal Ravens alongside Cesar "Skyz" Bueno and Iconz, and the Ravens have a team house for all online games. The Ravens had believed that the deal was done; however, sources indicate that Abe and Prolute would prefer to play for G2 with two players they know well.

G2's budget is a major factor here. Sources have informed us that the organization is making cutbacks for the upcoming season, transitioning to a remote team setup instead of the team house arrangement it has had for the last few seasons. That shift has already put G2 at a disadvantage in building a competitive roster.

We also know that Kremp has a pending transfer to the Riyadh Falcons. G2's coaching staff has also discussed leaving, but for now it appears they will remain.
