Sources: Vancouver Surge Closing In on Vik, Nemi, Wevy, and Mamba for New Roster

We reported earlier this week that Vancouver Surge had begun making moves on their next roster, closing in on the Team WaR duo of zvik and Nemensions. We can now confirm those deals are set to be finalized within the next 72 hours, and the same timeline applies to Jason "Wevy" Medina, who is joining from Cloud9 New York.

Sources tell us the fourth piece of this roster is Paul "Mamba" Solano, who is set to return to the org after a short stint elsewhere at the end of the season, having started the year on G2 Minnesota. We understand all three of the other incoming players advocated for Mamba's addition.

Cesar "Skyz" Bueno was also floated as a candidate, but zvik, Nemesions, and Wevy ultimately felt Mamba gives the roster the added firepower it needs in Respawn.
