Sources: FaZe Vegas Closing In on Scrap and HyDra

After a month-long saga, it appears a decision on Thomas "Scrap" Ernst and Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez's next destination is finally close. Sources indicate FaZe Vegas is the likely landing spot for the pair, with Chris "Simp" Lehr reportedly a key factor in their thinking. A jump in FaZe's offer over the past weekend has made clear this is the option that makes the most sense for both sides.

It's been a four-way battle for the duo over the past month. LA Thieves were the first to step away once the asking price climbed too high, while Riyadh Falcons and Paris Gentle Mates have continued pursuing the pair and are expected to keep trying until a contract is actually signed. Even so, FaZe expects the deal to get done.

As for the fourth roster spot, the choice is expected to come down to Zack "Drazah" Jordan or Mohammed "Alluka" Bindal. FaZe could look to sell Alluka to help offset the cost of signing Scrap and HyDra, especially with plenty of other organizations already interested in him.
