Sources: KOI's Late Push for Ethan Unlikely to Come Together Before EWC

Sources tell us KOI attempted to negotiate a deal with OMiT for Ethan, the Challengers Champs winner who has turned heads all season since making the jump from Rocket League to Call of Duty. The interest isn't new; both Gentle Mates and Riyadh Falcons explored deals for Ethan earlier this year, making him one of the more sought-after names on the market over the past three months.

This latest attempt looks unlikely to get done, though. OMiT would have limited time to find and sign a replacement with EWC deadlines closing in, making a late-window sale a tough ask regardless of KOI's interest.
