BO7 Rookie of the Year Ladder | March 4th
The Black Ops 7 season rolls on, and as we reach the midpoint of the Major II qualifiers, the Rookie of the Year race is heating up. This third edition of the ladder features new faces making immediate impacts, with Nium and Kips both turning heads in their first stage of action. At the top, however, it’s Lurqxx who claims the No. 1 spot after a scorching two-week stretch that has vaulted him ahead of the competition.
Here’s a look at the updated Mid–Major II Qualifiers Rookie of the Year Ladder, breaking down how each newcomer stacks up and which performances are redefining the race heading into the final push of the stage.
1) Logan "Lurqxx" Brown - Carolina Royal Ravens

Traixx drops a spot after an underwhelming week of play. Previously in the Major 2 Qualifiers, the Argentinian impressed against Texas, Paris, & Vegas. He finished with a 1.33 series K/D against FaZe in the 3-0 sweep, and competed hard against both Major I finialists. While the whole team struggled against Toronto KOI in their Week 3 matchup, it was enough to bump down Traixx for the time being.

Another new rookie enters the Ladder following Nium's in the previous edition. Kips joined the Toronto KOI to help kickstart their season after floundering results early on. He's been able to do that & more, helping Toronto look like a top team over the last two weeks. The Rookie AR has dropped a 1.10 Series K/D or higher in three straight matches, helping the KOI go on a 9-Map win streak.

Mamba has had the best success on LAN this season & against FaZe Vegas, but hasn't had the best individual impact overall. While his consistency has been up & down, his winning impact has been there & will keep him a persistent presence at the top of the Rookie Ladder.

After a hot start to the split, Nium cooled off slightly over the last couple of matches. His great series against Boston Breach (3-0 Win & 1.22 Series K/D) and Carolina Royal Ravens (3-0 Win & 1.29 Series K/D) have shown his potential when playing at his best. But his series against OpTic Texas (1-3 Loss & 0.84 Series K/D) and Toronto (3-1 Win & 0.77 Series K/D) also suggest he still has some development to do.

One of the biggest improvers from Stage I to Stage II so far has to be Carolina's Craze. The SMG has gone from a 0.90 Overall K/D & 88.0 Slayer Rating in Stage I to a 1.01 Overall K/D & 92.1 Slayer Rating in Stage II. While many will want to wait until Major I to confirm the development, he's well on his path toward climbing up the Rookie Ladder as the weeks go bye.
