Telluride Bush Gaming has made a major roster splash, officially signing Joseph "Owakening" Conley to replace Kris "Spart" Cervantez following his move to the Boston Breach. With Spart departing for a CDL opportunity, Bush Gaming wasted no time securing one of the most talented available players to keep their momentum intact.

Spart’s exit left a significant void in the lineup. His impact in Search & Destroy and ability to clutch kills in series made him a centerpiece of the team’s identity. Replacing that kind of presence is no easy task, but in Owakening, Bush Gaming acquires a proven slayer with CDL experience and the raw firepower to immediately shoulder that responsibility.

Owakening has played well this season, competing with Project Notorious and winning the Stage I Elite. He had continued to provide great slaying & damage numbers, which helped him gain the Demon Wake nickname in the Pro League. The signing signals clear intent from the Bush: they aren’t rebuilding, they’re reloading for the midseason push.
