LA Thieves have set their safety net with top Challenger's prospect Jeremiah "Nium" Harrison.

In a shocking turn of events last night, the LA Thieves made their move for Nium, a player who was just hours away from finalizing a loan deal to another CDL franchise from OpTic/Huntsmen.

Fortunately for Nium, while he had signed the new contract, OpTic hadn't signed their part of the agreement yet. If they had, the deal would have been finalized & the opportunity with LA wouldn't have come to fruition. Nium was contacted by management from the LA Thieves, who advised him to hold off signing and offered him a substitute spot on their roster.

The LA Thieves have been struggling compared to their standards to start this CDL season, with veteran Kenneth "Kenny" Williams not improving from his poor performance in Black Ops 6 as of yet. It seems management is preparing a safety plan in case results and performance do not improve after the first Stage of play.
