Week 2 began with great first-day matches, highlighted by a map 5 thriller between Boston & Minnesota. Toronto & Riyadh took care of business, beating each of their opponents in 3-0 fashion.

In today’s breakdown, we’ll highlight the best players from today's matches. Check out the key stats and highlights of their impact that made them the stars of Friday night.

McArthur “Cellium” Jovel - Riyadh Falcons

Cellium had a return to form series tonight against the Carolina Royal Ravens, leading the lobby in kills (65), K/D (1.55), and damage (7,902). He started the series hot, finishing Map 1 with a 1.74 K/D while being the only player with 80+ seconds of hill time, as he finished with 116 seconds. MC didn’t slow down from there, going 10-4 (2.50 K/D) in the Map 2 Search & Destroy. The Superstar AR again led the lobby in kills (10), K/D (2.50), damage (1,271), and opening duel wins (3). Just another day in the office for Cellium, as he leads the Falcons to their first series victory.

Byron “Nastie” Plumridge - Boston Breach

The lone AR of the day to get over 100 kills in a series, Nastie finished the 3-2 reverse sweep against Minnesota with a 1.23 K/D. He was the key factor in the reverse sweep, powering Boston in both Map 4 & Map 5. In Map 4, the Scar Hardpoint, Nastie finished with a 1.52 K/D in the 250-145 victory with 3,872 damage dealt. In the final Map 5, the Englishmen went 11-4 (2.75 K/D) with the most damage in the lobby (1,220). Nastie has arguably been one of the best offseason signings currently this year.

Eric “Snoopy” Pérez - Boston Breach

The daily kill leader, Snoopy, dropped 105 kills over the 5-map series. Leading the lobby with a 1.33 Series K/D, the Mexican SMG looked a step ahead of everyone else in the server. His best map of the day was the Overload, where Boston won 4-2 to kickstart the reverse sweep. Snoopy ended with a 37-16 (2.31 K/D) stat line with 4,080 damage and was +21. With his teammates clicking, this could be the season that Snoopy takes the next step up.

Joseph “JoeDeceives” Romero - Toronto KOI

The Superstar SMG has not slowed down one bit, dropping a 1.64 Series K/D in the 3-0 win over the Vancouver Surge. The entire series showcased the skill gap between the two teams, as KOI absolutely dominated the respawn maps. In the Hardpoint victory, Joe finished with a 34-19 (1.79 K/D) statline with 78 seconds of hill time & 4,005 damage. He effectively ended the series in the Overload, finishing 32-18 (1.78 K/D) to cement the 3-0 sweep.
