Cloud9 New York has announced the departure of its entire Call of Duty League roster, Isaiah "Gwinn" Gwinn, Daunte "Sib" Gray, Kris "Spart" Cervantez, Kyle "Kremp" Haworth, and head coach Lamar "Accuracy" Abedi, following a season that fell well short of expectations.

The 2025 campaign was a difficult one for the squad, marked by inconsistency and missed opportunities after being considered a dark horse at the start of the year. Despite flashes of individual plays, the team struggled to find sustained success. They failed to qualify for Call of Duty Champs, exited the Esports World Cup in the group stage, and were largely unable to make a significant impact throughout the regular season.

For an organization with Cloud9’s pedigree, the results were a stark contrast to preseason hopes. The team entered the year with a promising blend of experience and young talent, but chemistry issues and underwhelming performances in key matches ultimately doomed their chances at a deep run in any major tournament.

With this reset, Cloud9 New York will be starting from scratch, seeking to rebuild a roster capable of reaching their goals in Black Ops 7.
